To improve managerial level, delegation of Renmin University visited United States in November, led by Liu Xiangbing, head of delegation, assistant to President of Renmin University. Delegation visited universities which have world wide reputation, such as Princeton University, Cornell University, University of Minnesota, and California State University, Fullerton. Deputy Dean Zheng Xiaohua visited those universities with delegation. During the visit, delegation members discussed issues like university administration, institution building, finance, budget, audit, teaching and research assessment, personnel management, alumni work, fund raising and many others.
Deputy Dean Zheng Xiaohua inspected art schools of those four universities. Specially visited College of Architecture, Art, and Planning of Cornell University, Humanities Institute of University of Minnesota,inspected the two world-famous schools of art and associated teaching facilities, met with head of two schools, initially talked about establishing academic cooperation and invited the head of two schools to Renmin University at a convenient time next year.
